Summary: Zone designations established by Seattle's adopted Land Use Map regulate uses, size, shape, and location of buildings on all property in Seattle. Rezone decisions are made by the Seattle City Council after reviewing a report and recommendation from the Department of Planning and Development (DPD) and the City's Hearing Examiner.
