Summary: Tip 303A applies only to structures within the scope of the Seattle Residential Code (SRC) including detached one- and two-family dwellings, townhouses up to three stories in height, each with a separate means of egress, and their accessory structures. Generally, all other structures are subject to the Seattle Building Code (SBC). This Tip outlines important code items that you are required to include on plans for your projects.
