Constructed in 1955, this concrete block office building is located midblock on the west side of Second Avenue W. The 1-story building has a rectangular plan and stands on a poured concrete foundation. The building is clad in Roman brick (east elevation), concrete block, and combed wood shingles. The main (east) elevation with the front entrance fronts Second Avenue W. The building features a flat, built-up roof; eaves project on the south elevation. The wall of windows on the south elevation features wood windows and transoms. The entrance on the main elevation is recessed within the solid end wall and features a wood door, transom, and sidelight.
The building retains integrity and is a typical single-story commercial building from the 1950s. |
