Significance
This building is a good example of early 20th century commercial architecture. It contributes to our knowledge of the architectural development of Seattle in general and of the development of this neighborhood commercial center in particular.
 
Appearance
This is a two story brick commercial structure with Romanesque Revival features inlcuding arched windows. The asymmetrical entrance is also arched. The first floor is stone. Above it rise square brick pilasters framing six second story windows. A brick belt course and modillioned cornice cap the building.
