Significance
This is a typical retail building from 1925, with red brick cladding and a small amount of cast stone ornamentation. In 1937 it housed a wide variety of uses--paint store, a café, a barber and a radio service shop. Such buildings were found in every commercial district in Seattle, typically with a grocery store and services such as barbers and cleaners. It is now occupied primarily by restaurants. The windows and entries have been altered, and the bulkheads below the windows have been covered with vertical board cladding.
