Significance
This initial component of this house was erected in 1954, apparently replacing several earlier structures built in 1903, 1911, and 1918. This initial component was moved from another site and placed on a new foundation that included a partial basement. The property was acquired by Robert Burger in October 1954. Burger constructed two additions in 1955 and a carport in 1959.
 
Appearance
This ranch style residence features Modern era detailing typical of suburban tract housing built in the 1950s. The vinyl windows appear to be a recent modification.
