In the opinion of the survey, this property is located in a potential historic districe (National and/or local).
This house is a relatively intact vernacular house unique in South Park, which offers us information about the nature of folk housing in early South Park. It is also important for its association with the small farming and orchard activities that characterized early South Park and with the Italian community that farmed this valley. This house and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape. D. Mazzarella acquired this property in 1925.
 
Appearance
This cottage is 25' X 28' with a rear addition. It is unique in South Park. The side gable roof has a gabled, front facing dormer and the el-shaped porch is inset under the roofline. It is supported by simple square posts. A saw-tooth pattern sawn board decorates the porch roofline. Windows are one over one double hung sash.
