Significance
This house was built in 1918 according to the King County Assessor Property Characteristics Report (accessed in 2005). The current property owners purchased the house from Ethan and Mae Sallie Beals in 1998.
 
Appearance
This is a 1-1/2 story, clapboard and clad frame residence built over a full basement on a concrete foundation. The wide barge boards supported by triangular knee braces, the exposed rafter tails, the bungalow style windows, and the detailing of the entry porch are all elements of the structure’s design most commonly associated with the craftsman style. Screens have been added to some of the window openings. No other significant changes are apparent.
