Significance
This house embodies the characteristics and is an excellent example of a Queen Anne cottage. It is important because it enhances our knowledge of the style and of residential development in Seattle. Additionally, it contibutes to the historic streetscape.
 
Appearance
This cottage has a steeply pitched hip roof with a false gable to the front and a gable projection to the north. The corner porch is inset and a cutaway bay centers the gable. True to the Queen Anne style, surfaces are richly detailed. The gable has a three-part stained glass window surrounded by fishscale shingles. Wooden panel designs edge the cornice and the bay window. Porch posts are chamfered.
