Significance
This house is an outstanding example of a Craftsman cottage. It contributes to our knowledge of the architectural and residential development of Seattle. It and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape.
 
Appearance
This is an outstanding one and 1/2 story Craftsman cottage with chateauesque elements and rich surface texture. Wide horizontal siding covers the foundation, medium width siding covers the first level and a band of wooden shingles delineates the second level. The gable has a half-timbered effect created with Stick style elements and textured stucco. The house has an inset corner porch and knee brace decoration. There is a shed dormer to the south.
