Significance
This building consists of two parts. The original church building at the west end of the parcel appears to have been completed about 1913 according to microfilm permit records maintained by the City of Seattle(the original permit has not yet been located so the date of completion, original owner, designer and builder are not known). A more recent addition at the east end of the parcel was designed by Durham, Anderson & Freed in 1960, according to the constrcution drawings maintained in the church office, and the building itself was completed in 1962 according to the King County Assessor Property Characteristics Report. Nyberg and Steinbrueck identified this structure as a building significant to the Wallignford community.

Appearance
This building consists of two more or less rectangular components which combine to form a somewhat irregular floor plan. Despite the fact that the old and new portions of this building are separate structures built approximately 50 years apart and are clearly distinct in function and appearance, they are considered one building in the public record because they are attached by an open but covered elevated walkway. They share one address and are located on a single tax parcel. The older c. 1913 structure is the church. Its style is eclectic with a vaguely colonial revival focus. The more recent structure, completed about 1962, is a Modern era classroom and office building incorporating a Northwest version of International style curtain wall design.
