This hosue is an excellent example of late 19th/early 20th century vernacular housing. It contributes to our knowledge of the architectural and residential development of Seattle. It and its corresponding cottages contribute to the historic streetscape.

| Appearance |
| This is one of four identical one story hipped roof cottages at the northeast corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Way and E. Thomas. It has a low hipped roof with wide eaves and a three sided façade bay with an inset corner porch. The windows are one over one double hung wooden sash and have molded frames. It ahs a shallow square bay projecting to the south. The original siding of this house is covered in asbestos shingles.
