This house is one of two (1407 and 1417 - 15th Avenue) surviving houses in what was originally a row of four identical/similar early vernacular houses. This house embodies the characteristics of Seattle's earliest housing and enhances our knowledge of vernacular architecture and residenital growth in Seattle.

Appearance |
This house is a traditional two story, front gable vernacular form with sparse windows, center chimney and asymmetrical entrance. The entrance porch is a small pedimented stoop with a sunburst pattern in the pediment. Original two over two windows have been altered to nine over nine sash. |
