In the opinion of the survey, this property is located in a potential historic districe (National and/or local). This house is significant as one of the oldest intact structures in South Park. It provides invaluable information regarding 19th century vernacular architecture as well as insight into the settlement of South Park. Charles H. Geiger acquired this proeprty in December of 1921.   Appearance This is a vernacular residential structure with Victorian decoration. The gable front, el-shaped cottage has beveled siding, 1/1 double hung wooden sash and a full-width hipped roof porch. The proch is supported by turned and chamfered posts and the baluster is composed [of] turned spindles. It is one of approximately three survey examples of this type in South Park and is remarkably intact. The house contributes to the historic streetscape.
