This house is an excellent example of late 19th/early 20th century vernacular housing. It contributes to our knowledge of the architectural and residential development of Seattle. It and its corresponding cottages contribute to the historic streetscape.

Appearance |
This is one of four identical one story hipped roof cottages at the northeast corner of Martin Luther King Way and East Thomas. It has a low hipped roof with wide eaves and a three sided façade bay with an inset corner porch. The windows are one over one double hung wooden sash and have molded frames. It has a shallow square bay projecting to the south.
