This buidling, constructed in 1966, was the offices of Harmon Pray and Detrich, an architectural firm that designed the IBEW building (1949) and the Seattle Labor Temple addition (1955). This is one of several smaller commercial buildings built in this underdeveloped area in the 1960s, around the time of the
World’s Fair held at nearby Seattle Center in 1962.

Appearance |
The façade of this concrete building is recessed, with the projecting roof supported by a series of hexagonal concrete columns. The façade is clad with concrete aggregate, similar to that on the floor of the entry. The rest of the main façade is primarily glass panels, which appear to have been replaced. |
