Summary for 6621 FLORA AVE / Parcel ID / Inv # 0

Historic Name: Unknown Common Name:
Style: Queen Anne - Cottage Neighborhood: Georgetown
Built By: Year Built:

Significance

Based on field work conducted in September 2014, this historic property retains its relationship to the streetscape, historic building form and a sufficient amount of exterior historic building fabric (design features, cladding and/or window sash/openings) to contribute to the distinct character of the Georgetown neighborhood.

This is an altered but relatively intact historic property that may possess some limited architectural and/or historic significance. Due to project contraints, its construction date (age), design character and/or condition no historical research has been undertaken regarding this property. This property exhibits some substantive changes to the exterior appearance/design character since it was identified in the 1997 HRI project: historic window sash appears to have been replaced with vinyl units and brick pattern asphalt cladding has been removed and clapboard siding restored/reinstalled.

Appearance
Queen Anne cottage style house with brick pattern asphalt cladding, gable roof, and composition roofing. Double-hung windows with tails. Turned posts at the entry porch. Porch rail is new.
