This house is important as an intact example of an early 20th century vernacular house interpreted in Crafstman and Queen Anne detail. It is important because it enhances our knowledge of vernacular architecture and residential development in Seattle and Because it contributes to the historic streetscape. This house appears on the 1904-1905 Sanborn Map.
 
Appearance
This is a one and 1/2 story frame cottage with a Queen Anne-like shingle tower built into the southeast corner. A full width inset porch is supported by slender classical columns. A gable dormer projects from the center of the broad gable roof. Gable surfaces are covered in shingles, the body in clapboard and the foundation in shingles.
