Significance
This one-story brick retail building was built for the O. H. Carlson Electric Company in 1946, when local construction was just beginning to recover from World War II. It is an example of the many service companies who located in Belltown for its less costly property conveniently located close to downtown. The exterior is typical of the 1940s, with Roman brick cladding and curved entryways of glass blocks. The small windows on the side elevation have been replaced with single fixed panes
