This vernacular cottage retains its basic form and is representative of South Park's period of settlement. A shingled gabled dormer provides a simple Victorian decoration. Wide one over one façade windows are probably early 20th century alterations. The house has a full width shed porch with an asymmetrical entrance. A brick chimney rises from the rear. Low concrete steps lead up from the sidewalk. The house and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape.
