Significance
This small commercial building, constructed in 1919, has been completely altered with new windows and stucco cladding over the brick. The stepped parapet remains, however. It was first altered in 1941, when it was an office and showroom for Toledo Scales. At that time, the entry was trimmed with glass block and larger windows were installed. The stucco cladding is more recent.
