This distinctive building dates from about 1895, and is notable as one of the most intact of the early apartment buildings built in the Central Area in the late 19th century. It is also one of the few apartment buildings with such distinctive Queen Anne features. Although it has recently been altered with new windows, it still retains its basic turn-of-the-century character.

| Appearance |
| This building is quite intact for its age, although the porch has been enclosed and the windows were recently replaced. It has a hipped roof form, similar to a large single-family residence. Two bays extend the full height, and are topped with gabled pediments. A variety of cladding material are used, primarily narrow beveled siding. A belt course of wooden shingles runs between the two floors. The corners of the cutaway bays have oversized brackets, detailed to match the ornate frieze and the first floor belt course. Modillions decorate the eaves and pediments, with dentil molding between the first and second floors. The transoms in the bays have stained glass windows.
