Significance
This house was built in 1903. Early ownership is unknown. The house was purchased by Edith Sommerville in 1936. Sommerville lived in the house until 1942. The house was demolished in 2004.
 
Appearance
This single story vernacular house, which overlooks Columbia Park, is of wood frame construction and is supported by a concrete block foundation. The house has a rectangular plan and a front gable roof with shed roof wings on the side elevations. The house has a hip roof porch supported by simple wood posts. The house is clad in faux brick rolled composition siding. The fenestration originally consisted of one-over-one double hung windows, which are currently boarded over with plywood. The form and plan is relatively intact, however the house is in a state of disrepair.
