This building is an excellent example of an early 20th Century school building. Property for the school was purchased in 1909 and plans for the building began by architect Edgar Blair in 1912. Concord School was built in 1913 for a cost of $80,460. In 1927, additional property was added to the grounds and in 1932 all South Park children were sent to this school when the old South Park School was closed.

| Appearance |
| This elementary school is a three story rectangular mass with a low pitched hipped roo. Polychrome brick courses and wooden cornice and modillions decorate this relatively simple neoclassical revival school. Windows are three over three vertical pare sash. The school is sited on a prominent ridge and contributes to South Park's historic identity. |
