Historic Name: Unknown Common Name:
Style: Queen Anne, Vernacular Neighborhood: Central Area

Significance
This house embodies the distinctive characteristics of a vernacular Queen Anne house. It is important because it enhances our knowledge of vernacular architecture and residential development in Seattle and because it and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape. Mary Lynch owned this house in 1917.

Appearance
Newly rehabilitate, this two story house is characterized by a somewhat eccentric assemblage of Queen Anne details. The illusion of converging rooflines is created by gables cut into the hipped roof as well as gable projections to the south and east. A full width porch addresses the corner entrance with an angled pediment. Steps up from the sidewalk enhance the commanding location.
