Significance
This is a good example of late 19th/early 20th century vernacular architecture. It contributes to our knowledge of the architectural and residential development in Seattle. It and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape.
 
Appearance
This is an unusual variation of the one and 1/2 story side gable house type. It has a center recessed udner an extension of the roof's slope. To each side are bay windows topped by decorative gable dormers. A functional gable dormer rises above the entrance. The house is clad in horizontal siding and the dormers in decorative shingles.
