Significance
In the opinion of the survey, this property is located in a potential historic districe (National and/or local).
This house embodies the distinctive characteristics of the Queen Anne style. It is the mirror image of (now altered) 521 21st Avenue. The two create a unit unique in this survey area. This house is important because it enhances our knowledge of the style and residential development in Seattle. The uit contributes to the historic streetscape. (Note similarities to 802 21st Avenue.) This block is not mapped on the 1893 Sanborn but both houses appear on the 1904-1905 Sanborn Map. John Williams acquired this property in March of 1929.
 
Appearance
This two story frame house has a hipped roof main mass with gable projections to the north and to the east. An exaggereated shed roof shelters the asymmetrical front entrance. Wall surfaces are enriched with two widths of siding and patterned shingles.
