Appearance |
This house is representative of the simple early 20th century cottages derived from the bungalow form. It is intact and despite its simplicity displays popular decorative treatments including a cottage door, Craftsman windows grouped in threes to each side of the entrance and knee braces at each corner and above the porch column. A gabled extension to the east appears to be an addition. This house contributes to our knowledge of 20th century vernacular housing and to the historic streetscape. |
