This is one of a group of homes built on E. Olin Place in 1925-28 by Oliver W. Harris. Harris, a developer, platted the view property and built the solid upper-middle-class homes, probably on speculation in 1926-28. The houses are different, exhibiting a variety of revival styles, but form a compatible group. This one is one is quite modern, with a Spanish influence, with stucco and red clay tile, a two-story rear section with a flat roof, a gabled front section and six-ligth casement windows.
