Significance
This drive-in restaurant was built in 1955, when drive-ins were first becoming popular. Following World War II people relied more on automobiles for transportation, and businesses were increasingly designed to accommodate them.  This was the first restaurant of a small local chain and was located in a popular area close to a technical school. 
 
Appearance
This is a typical drive-in, without any indoor seating.  It consists of a small rectangular building with a glass front.  The roof is the main feature, extending well across the parking lot to shelter those in line.
