Significance
This house appears to be closely associated with Seattle's first Quaker Shurch at 172 23rd Avenue and thus offers the possibility of yielding information that will enhance our knowledge of Seattle's relligious heritage.
 
Appearance
This house is a traditional two story foursquare form with hip roof, sparse windows and wood shingle cladding. The first level is brick veneered to match the church. A pedimented porch with classical columns shelters the asymmetrical entrance. A simple square bay projects to the west.
