Constructed ca. 1908, this two-story single family residence has a rectangular plan and an American foursquare form. The building stands at the northeast corner of Warren Avenue N and Roy Street. The front facade faces west, onto Warren Avenue N. The site has a small front lawn with a large backyard converted to parking.
A hip roof shelters interior spaces. Asphalt composition shingles clad the roof. The roof features broad eave overhangs with exposed rafters and bead board sheathing along the eaves. An internal brick chimney services the building.
A concrete foundation with scored parging supports the platform frame structure. Shingles clad the upper story with an outward flare along the lower edge. Clapboard with corner boards clads the first story. V-groove shiplap clads the house at the day light basement level. A water table wraps the building at the basement to first story transition. A belt course wraps the top of the first story just below the outward flare of the second story shingles. A canted oriel with exposed beams projects off the south facade. Another oriel projects off the north facade. A shed roofed oriel, with added bracing below it, extends from the northeast corner of the house.
Windows are grouped in pairs and singles. All feature wood sills and wood casings. The northeast shed roof oriel retains multi-lite wood sash windows. A nine-lite fixed-sash window remains on the east facade at the basement level.
A front entrance services the building, located on the west facade with wood casings at the doorway.
Alterations include the replacement of all windows with new sash, replacing the original 1:1 double hung sash. An added porch extends across the front facade. The front entry features a new door. A detached garage at the back of the site was previously removed.
