This building appears to be the oldest unaltered apartment building in Seattle.
 
Appearance
This rectangular frame box is a vernacular interpretation of high style San Francisco rowhouses. Miraculously intact, it has rhythmic full height square bays with gable roofs applied to the façade dividing the building into "row houses." One story gabled stoops with turned posts and spindlework announce the entrances. The cornice is bracketed and the bays shingled. A continuous two story gallery spans the rear of the building.
