Appearance

Constructed ca. 1920, this poured concrete structure is located at the northwest corner of W Roy Street and W Queen Anne Driveway. The building at 2 W Roy Street is a commercial building and features a flat roof with a parapet. The one-story building stands on a poured concrete foundation and has an irregular-shaped plan, and is clad in brick veneer with cast concrete panels and medallions at the parapet. The parapet steps down from east to west, defining the individual storefronts. The building’s southeast corner features a storefront with wood transoms that appear to be the only original windows remaining on the building. The building has a mix of vinyl, metal, and wood windows.

The building has moderate integrity, retaining its commercial form, but has had several alterations to its windows and some to cladding.
