This commercial/office building was built in 1954. Architect James Ellison designed the Rainier Dental Building for Dr. Scharmann. Scharmann’s dental clinic originally occupied the building.

Appearance |
This two story commercial building is of masonry and frame construction and is supported by a concrete foundation. The building has a rectangular plan and a flat roof. The building is clad in brick veneer, vertical wood and concrete block. The fenestration consists of narrow four-part windows on the first story of the main elevation, and two large expansive glass windows on the second story. An inset storefront is located on the west corner of the main elevation. The second story was added sometime before 1959 and is set back slightly front the front elevation. |
