Significance
This house is an excellent example of a bungalow and of early 20th century vernacular housing. It contributes to our knowledge of the architectural and residential development of Seattle and it contributes to the historic streetscape. Further evaluation of this cottage may yield information regarding the rich ethnic heritage of this historically Japanese/American and Italian/American neighborhood.
 
Appearance
This is a one story gable front bungalow with unusual inset 'side gable' front porch supported by massive battered stucco posts. Rafter ends are exposed and exaggerated. The foundation of the house is also battered and clad in wooden shingles. The rest of the house is clad in horizontal siding. There is an interior brick chimney.
