Significance
This house embodies the distinctive characteristics of a vernacular interpretation of the Greek Revival style. Although one of the popular early 20th century revival styles, a Greek Revival cottage of this size and detail is rare in Seattle. It is important because it enhances our knowledge of vernacular architecture and residential development in Seattle and because it and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape.
 
Appearance
This vernacular Greek Revival cottage is characterized by a low hipped roof, a full width inset porch and square paneled columns. It has wide windows and narrow clapboard true to early 20th century treatments.
