Appearance |
This house has a particularly interesting form, with a main side-gabled volume with a prominent twin-gabled dormer. Attached at the south side is a pyramidal pavilion—too large to be considered a turret--at the second story level, with a porch below; square piers support it. The main entry, beneath the twin gables, is a small gabled hood with stickwork in the gable end. Cladding is shingles on the upper section and clapboard below. On the south is a rounded bay window with leaded glass transoms. An oriel window with leaded beveled glass is next to the entry. |
