Significance
This house is an early one for the area, dating to 1903. It was owned by Alvina Hildebrandt. Its appearance and form are intriguing and it addes considerable interest to the streetscape.
 
Appearance
This house has a particularly interesting form, with a main side-gabled volume with a prominent twin-gabled dormer. Attached at the south side is a pyramidal pavilion—too large to be considered a turret--at the second story level, with a porch below; square piers support it. The main entry, beneath the twin gables, is a small gabled hood with stickwork in the gable end. Cladding is shingles on the upper section and clapboard below. On the south is a rounded bay window with leaded glass transoms. An oriel window with leaded beveled glass is next to the entry.
