Significance
According to county tax assessor records, this building was originally constructed in 1910 as a wood frame bulding with a first-floor storefront with two apartments above. It may have been one of the earlier buildings in this area, at the edge of the regrade. In 1937 there was a grocery store in the retail space, with a tile bulkhead that was probably recently added. However, the building was later completely transformed (possibly in the 1950s-60s), with an added story, new windows and doors, and plywood cladding. It was later updated again.
