Significance
This house is an excellent example of lat e 19th/early 20th century vernacular housing. It contributes to our knowledge of the architectural and residential development of Seattle. It and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape.
 
Appearance
This is a variation of the traditional one and 1/2 story gable front vernacular house type. It is characterized by a three sided bay to the side of the hipped roof entrance porch. The proch is supported by square wooden posts on balustrade made of horizontal siding to match the house. The façade gable is clipped and there is a shed dormer to the east.
