Significance
This is a good example of late 19th/early 20th century vernacular architecture. It contributes to our knowledge of the architectural and residential development of Seattle. It and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape.
 
Appearance
This is a local interpretation of the Queen Anne style. It features a large hipped roof mass with gable projections to the north and to the east. Both are cutaway bays next to low hipped porches, one toward 24th Avenue and one toward Fir Street. The porches are supported by turned columns and have a spindle work balustrade. The center window in the bay windows has a harlequin pattern transom.
