This house is significant as an intact example of a Craftsman bungalow in an area that has become largely commercial. The house was built in 1911 by owner A.W. Millroy, who is also listed as the architect on the original building permit. Other early ownership of the house is unknown.

Appearance |
This one-story Craftsman bungalow is situated facing west on its lot. The roof is front gabled. The house is clad in clapboard siding with decorative board and batten detailing. The front porch, on the south side of the front elevation, is inset and runs a little more than half of the elevation. To the south of the front door is a pair of double-hung windows with multi-paned upper sashes. This window pattern is repeated opposite of the inset front porch. Board and batten and scalloped trim divide the first story and the attic. The attic has three small multi-paned windows with a decorative bracket support below. This house retains all or most of its original integrity. |
