This house was built in 1912 and is significant as an intact example of Craftsman style architecture. It shows a Swiss Chalet style influence, especially on the main elevation. The original owner/builder are unknown as the building permit is missing. According to the property record card, L.M. Marsh owned the house from approximately 1926 to 1937. City directory research shows a variety of occupants. It appears that the house was primarily used as a rental property.

| Appearance |
| This one and a half story Craftsman house is sited facing west on the lot. The roof is front gabled with gabled side dormers; decorative brackets support the wide overhang of the main roof and the dormer roof. The house is clad in clapboard siding. The main entrance is located on the south elevation. On the front elevation is a porch that extends outward and runs three-quarters of the length of the elevation. Centered on the front elevation is a bay with a multi-paned door that is flanked by two fixed multi-paned windows that are the same size as the door. On either side of the bay are small rectangular fixed paned windows. The half story extends outward to meet the bay below; decorative brackets above the rectangular fixed paned windows support the half story above. The half story has a series of three double-hung windows with multi-paned upper sashes. Small, square multi-paned windows flank the three windows. Below the series of three windows is a flower box supported by decorative brackets. This house is relatively unaltered and retains much of its original integrity. |
