Historic Name: Unkown Common Name: Style: Arts & Crafts - Craftsman Neighborhood: South Park Built By: Year Built: 1920   Significance This house is important as a good example of a patternbook bungalow. It was built on the Prentice Reserve, which was a large block, largely undeveloped until it was broken up in the early 1920s. This house was held by the estate of Jeanette Klenert in 1938.   Appearance This little bungalow is remarkably intact, especially considering that it and three altered bungalows to its west are the last residential structures in this block of Kenyon Street. The four are ocmpletely surrounded by industrial development. This house has the basic gable front rectangular mass but also has a gabled wing to the east. The gable of both the porch and the house are board and batten while the body of the house is clad in narrow beveled siding. The foundation is covered in wood shingles. The porch supports are groups of three posts with lettice-like spindles between. They rest on paneled wooden piers. Windows are 6 and 8 over one doulbe hung wooden sash. Knee braces decorate the eave.
