Appearance
Bikur Sholum Tabernacle is a pleasing, one story brick synagogue with strong symmetry in massing as well as detail. It is characterized by a dominant arched entrance way set in a pedimented center bay which rises slightly above the roofline. Two heights of hipped roof behind the projection create depth and strengthen the symmetry. The double door entrance has a six light, vesticle transom above.
