| Appearance |
| This house is an interestingv marriage of the basic foursquare form with Queen Anne whimsy. Typical of 19th century forms, this house has sparse windows, a steep hipped roof and asymmetrical entrance. A corner tower with gable roof has been applied to the southeast corner of the house, however, breaking the boxiness of the house. The gable and second floor of the house are square cut and fishscale wooden shingles, the shallow eave bracketed, and the hipped roof porch is embellished with truned post and spindlework. |
