Even in altered conditon, this house retains the distinctive characteristics of a Queen Anne dwelling. It is important because it enhances our knowledge of residential development in Seattle and because it and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape.
It appears on the 1904-1905 Sanborn but does not seem to appear on the 1893 map.

| Appearance |
| This two story Queen Anne dwelling has a pyramidal roof with a gable projection to the front, which caps a two story bay. A wrap-around porch with low hipped roof is supported by elegant turned posts. Wooden shingles were installed over the clapboard siding prior to 1958 but gable ends retain this original decorative shingles. Corners of the cutaway bay are decorated withscroll work brackets. Original decorative and one over one double hung sash have been replaced. |
