Significance
This house embodies the distinctive characteristics of the Shingle style. It is important because it enhances our knowledge of late 19th and early 20th century architecture and residential devleopment in Seattle. This house appears on the 1904-1905 Sanborn Maps.
 
Appearance
This Shingle style house is characterized by a front facing gambrel roof, second floor shingle cladding asymmetrical detailing, a second story bay on the southern elevation and a circular porch on the northern elevation. A cut away bay faces the street. (This house has been rehabilitated since the 1979 survey.)
