This modified American Foursquare is significant as a relatively intact example of an early house in the northwest quadrant of the University District neighborhood. Its exact construction date is unknown due to the lack of a building permit on record; however, it would appear that this house was built prior to 1908.

| Appearance |
| This one and a half story modified version of an American foursquare is sited facing north on the lot. The roof is hipped and has hipped roof dormers. The house is clad in clapboard siding. A front porch runs the full width of the front elevation; the main hipped roof extends over the porch and is supported by decorative columns. The main entrance, whose original door has been replaced, is on the east side of the front elevation; a three-part double-hung window is located west of the front entrance. The half-story dormers have four double-hung windows; these windows are not original and replaced windows similar to those on the first story of the front elevation. A bay window has been added on the east side; the west side bay window has been altered slightly with the addition of new windows. This house has been moderately altered. |
