Significance
This house is an excellent example of late 19th/early 20th century vernacular housing. It contributes to our knowledge of the architectural and residential development of Seattle. Additionally, it and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape.
 
Appearance
This is a one and one half story front facing gambrel house. It has narrow horizontal siding on the first floor and wooden shingles on the second. A three-sided façade bay balances the inset corner porch. The porch is supported by turned posts. It has a center brick chimney.
